blueegg Design Director Adam Faulkner will be giving a talk at Sydney.Concepts.Westmead on Friday, 6th July. Discussing how research with users informs design, Adam will profile our recent project with Monash University. One of the many challenges when designing systems is how do you deliver an engaging and intuitive experience for users. The simple answer is by talking to people. The example we will use is how Adam worked with Monash University’s Faculty of Pharmacy to deliver a better student, mentor & lecturer experience. The experience focused on their PharmMap tool and involved the interviewing of students and mentors around how they currently engage. Uncovering insights about how we can improve and deliver evidenced based designs that deliver actionable and clear outcomes.
Sydney.Concepts.Westmead is an ongoing series of conversations between researchers across the depth and breadth of the University of Sydney and colleagues from the Westmead Precinct. These conversations will cover exciting discoveries and innovations and are aimed at initiating new collaborative opportunities between the University and the broader Westmead community.
